The MoTeC BR2 is the in-vehicle half of the MoTeC infrared lap timing system. It connects by CAN or a switched output and works with the MoTeC BTX trackside transmitter, with a range of up to 40 m with a clear line of sight.

- CAN output for beacon and diagnostic information, plus a digital output as an alternative
- Status LED: power on, beacon received, error codes
- Compatible with C1 Series displays, L1 Series loggers, ACL, SDL3, ADL3, M1 Series and M400/M600/M800/M880 ECUs
- 5-pin Autosport connector; 75 x 36.5 x 25 mm
- Mount so the beam hits the receiver window at a right angle; avoid tinted glass or acrylic, which reduce range
- Pairs with the MoTeC BTX Beacon Transmitter (15501)
