The MoTeC E888 expander adds inputs and outputs to MoTeC ECUs and loggers over CAN, so you can add sensors, custom channels and auxiliary control, including 8 K-type thermocouple inputs (for example for EGTs). It is configured as part of the connected ECU or logger configuration. For higher update rates or resolution, MoTeC recommends the VIM input expander.

- Inputs: 8 analog voltage (10-bit, 0β5 V), 8 K-type thermocouple (-200 to 1250 Β°C), 2 cold junction compensation, 4 digital (frequency/switched), 2 switch
- 200 Hz update for all inputs (50 Hz for a second expander)
- Outputs: 8 PWM (4 at 8 Hzβ5 kHz with 255 duty steps, 4 at 1β100 Hz with 20 steps)
- CAN communication to the ECU or logger and to the PC
- 99 x 105 x 40 mm, 310 g, two-part 60-pin waterproof connector with gold contacts
- Compatible with C1 Series display loggers, ACL (up to two), SDL3 (thermocouples only) and M400/M600/M800/M880 (one)
