The Dirt Launch Powersports Yamaha YXZ Stage 3 Turbo Kit takes the proven foundation of our Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits and upgrades the system with a Garrett GT2860RS turbocharger with a .86 A/R for serious power and performance.
This system is designed to deliver up to 270 rear wheel horsepower while maintaining strong drivability and improved cold start behavior compared to the factory setup. The kit is built around a 9.5:1 compression engine and tuned to run on pump gas, even at full boost.
The Stage 3 system fits 2016 and newer Yamaha YXZ1000R models and is compatible with both Sport Shift and manual transmission cars.

What’s Included
- Fully tuned ECU. Send us your ECU and we return it fully tuned. No piggyback systems or additional tuning required.
- Garrett GT2860RS turbocharger with .86 A/R upgraded to a V-band connection at the exhaust manifold
- Air-to-air intercooler with puller fan. This is the same intercooler used on our Stage 1, Stage 2, and Pro Turbo YXZ race cars competing in the Championship Off-Road Series. Our intercooler has been tested to support over 400 horsepower.
- Intake piping to the turbo with foam air cleaner and Outerwears filter cover
- 530cc fuel injectors
- Coolant lines, oil lines, and all necessary fittings for installation
- Dirt Launch Powersports oil distribution block
- Silicone couplers and clamps required for installation
- 3-bar MAP sensor
- Downpipe designed to connect the turbo to any Yamaha YXZ slip-on exhaust. A straight pipe full exhaust is also available.

Optional Parts:
- Donaldson Intake Upgrade
We highly recommend this optional Donaldson intake system for dusty or wet conditions. We designed this intake upgrade to mount the filter housing above the bed to prevent water from entering the intake when driving through water crossings or puddles. This kit includes a tube mounting bracket to bolt to the stock roll cage, a Donaldson intake housing with dual filters for maximum filtration, and all of the intake couplers and mounting hardware required to mount to a factory roll cage. Custom piping may be required to fit aftermarket cages
- YXZ High / Low Boost Harness
This allows you to switch between 14psi and 22psi of boost with the flip of a switch. Allowing you to turn the power down when it's not needed
- Stage 8 Locking Fasteners
When installed properly, will not allow the exhaust bolts to come loose with expansion and contraction during heat cycles of the turbo, manifold, and downpipe
